PRIVACY NOTICE
How we handle your information
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information Flightward collects, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Flightward is operated by Anthony Grogan trading as Flightward.uk, who is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you email us — your name, email address, any company details and whatever you include in your message.
- If you ask to join the early access list — your name, email address and company, so we can keep you updated about Flightward.
- When you visit this website — our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site's fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google, which receives your IP address.
We do not set cookies, use analytics, or use advertising or tracking tools on this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiries and discuss Flightward with you — our legitimate interests in running and developing the business.
- To send you early access updates — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
- To keep the website running securely — our legitimate interests in operating a safe, reliable site.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only use trusted service providers who process it on our behalf: Apple (iCloud Mail, for our email), Cloudflare (website hosting and domain services) and Google (website fonts). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States; where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry emails: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and normally no longer than two years after our last contact.
- Early access list: until you ask to be removed, or until we no longer run the list.
- Website technical data: held by Cloudflare for its own short retention periods.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if what we collect or how we use it changes — for example, when we add a sign-up form or launch the Flightward app.
